Product description

Material suspends and forms fluidized state under the action of the undefiled hot air flow (negative pressure), its surface is in full contact with the heated air, and the material is evenly heated and reaches ideal state for hot swapping thus to have a high efficiency. Configured with proper spraying system and through further structural improvement, fluid bed becomes multi-purpose technological equipment in combined functions of drying, granulating, solution coating, and power dressing.

This machine can be equipped with “top spray” “bottom spray” and “side/tangent spray” system,

based on a set of public facilities and exchangeable process modules, which are mainly applied for, by means of “Top spray”, “Bottom spray” and “Side spray”, powder mixing, drying, granulating, coating, pelletizing, etc in medicine, food or chemical industry.

 

Process Introduction

 

Bottom spray process

Bottom spray process adds a spacing ring with top & bottom opening and mesh plate with

different hole size in material hopper, to control movement of materials and form regular

fluidization status. The liquid may be added into the system through pneumatic nuzzle installed in the center of mesh plate, oriented to the material movement direction. Certain clearance shall be kept between spacing ring and mesh plate to ensure material can flow from outside into spacing ring smoothly and form circular flowing status.

The material moves in cycle inside bottom spray unit, the fluidization status is regular and the interval that the particle passes the spray atomized liquid is also regular. The spread of atomized liquid is even which leads to even and complete coating. It will not defect coating performance due to disorder movement such as in top spray.

 

Option

Top spray process

Under the action of push force from inlet air current, material moves up from Chute to Spray

Chamber, due to the diameter of Spray Chamber is very big, and air flow rate is slow, the own gravity of material overcomes the push force of inlet air flow, and then drops down, therefore, turns into fluid state, but this state is irregular, and isn’t suffered from strict control. This point is different from bottom spray and tangent spray.

Liquid medium is transported into the system by atomizing device, enters from spray nozzle,atomizes and becomes very fine liquid drop, and then sprays into the fluid bed system from top to bottom; the fluid flow and material movement are in the same direction. The “liquid bridge” built by the surface strain of liquid medium, powder materials conglutinate with each other, the bulk  enlarges continuously, thus to form granules.
